THERE IS NO CONSTRUCTION IN KRAGUJEVAC WITHOUT PLANTING TREES

The city authorities made this decision because of the recognizable appearance of Šumadija, which forms the “lungs” of this part of Serbia, where it is almost unimaginable that there are no forests. Also, in modern architecture and construction, the thesis of green areas is increasingly advocated which increases the quality of life of citizens, according to the portal Nekretnine.rs.

Because of all mentioned, this decision was unanimously voted at the level of the city parliament at the initiative of the mayor.

Namely, for every newly built building with an area of up to 1,000 square meters, investors in Kragujevac will be obliged to plant ten new trees. If the building is of mixed use, residential and commercial, and has more than 1,000 square meters, the number of trees increases according to the system – every next 500 square meters, one tree, Nekretnine.rs portal reports.

Construction investors will be obliged to do so by the decision on the implementation of the Action “Give nature a breath – plant a tree”.

If planting in that place is not possible, PUK “Šumadija”, which takes care of the green areas of the city, will determine where the trees will be planted. After planting, the investor will receive a confirmation from Šumadija, after which he will also receive a building permit.

This decision resulted from the fact that in the last five years there is a real expansion in the construction market, as a result of which a large number of trees were removed.

Kragujevac will continue its expansion in the real estate market, and at the same time it will keep its “lungs”, which will make another one a step towards the status of a green city.
