There are no more places for vaccination in Bucharest

There are no more places for vaccination in Bucharest. The limit is 600,000 places throughout the country, for the next 20 days, says the coordinator of the national vaccination strategy, Valeriu Gheorghiţă.

Valeriu Gheorghiţă declared, on Friday evening, at Digi24, after the journalists called a call center from where they found out that the places in the Capital were exhausted, that the rhythm must be adapted to the number of available vaccine doses.

Asked why the people of Bucharest cannot schedule in four weeks, for example, Valeriu Gheorghiţă answered that the authorities do not want to put themselves in the situation where they schedule and the vaccine does not arrive in the country.

There is a limit of 600,000 places for the next 20 days, at national level, according to Valeriu Gheorghiţă.

“We have to keep that balance. Depending on the dose, we are expanding the centers and slots “, added the coordinator of the national vaccination strategy.
