jatim.jpnn.comMALANG – Malang Corruption Watch (MCW) claims to have found a number of irregularities in the use of the budget that have the potential to harm the state.
MCW Coordinator Ahmad Adi detailed that the findings occurred in the Government of Malang City, Malang Regency, and Batu City.
In the period 2019 to 2021, his party has found at least 73 irregularities in the Malang Regency Government.
“Then there are 43 findings in Batu City and 57 findings in the Malang City Government,” he said.
According to him, the biggest potential for corruption comes from the procurement of goods and services.
For example, in Malang City, his party together with BPK found a lack of work volume on six road works packages in the DPUPR Highways Sector amounting to Rp271 million.
“Two of them are on Jalan Semeru, Kauman Village, and Jalan Raya Cemorokandang, Cemorokankang Village,” he said.
Meanwhile in Malang Regency, it was found that the road body lacked volume and quality for the implementation of six road works packages at the Public Works Department of Highways amounting to Rp. 71.5 million.
MCW revealed a number of irregularities in the use of the budget in Malang which have the potential to harm the state.
