The vaccination of Romanians, who fall into the second stage, has actually started. Many people came to immunization centers before the scheduled time

The second stage of the vaccination campaign actually begins on Monday, January 18, for several hundred thousand Romanians.

The first appointments made by Romanians that fall into the second stage of the vaccination campaign, during Friday, January 15, took place in places reserved for Monday, January 18. The immunization process actually started at 9.00.

On Monday morning, at the Marius Nasta Institute in Bucharest, there was no place left for vaccination. Dozens of people went there to get the COVID vaccine, and many of them came ahead of schedule and expressed dissatisfaction that they were not vaccinated sooner, Digi 24 reported.

And at the vaccination center at Alexandru Obregia Hospital, people crowded to be the first to be vaccinated.

On the other hand, the campaign officials transmitted on Monday morning that the vaccination platform does not work and that the doctors have to enter the patients’ data manually. The Ministry of Health said that STS is working to fix the problems.

President Klaus Iohannis started the second stage
