The manufacturer of accessories Genesis comes to the market with two models of mice that will satisfy undemanding users. Their weight has stopped below 80 grams, although they do not lack RGB backlighting and programmable buttons.
Cheap mice there is never enough on the market. At least that’s what Genesis thinks, expanding its portfolio with two new products. These are the Krypton 200 and Krypton 220 mice.
The Krypton 200 builds on an optical sensor with DPI values of 500 to 6,400. It offers a 1.8 meter long cable, RGB backlight, silent switches and six programmable buttons. Additional software supports macro creation, button remapping, and backlight adjustment. The mouse has a built-in memory, so the settings you adjust will also apply when connected to another computer. The weight stopped at a pleasant 77 grams.
The second novelty is the Krypton 220. As you can already guess from the designation, this is a model located slightly higher in the Genesis offer. Most of the specifications match the Krypton 200. For example, the sensor, the number of buttons, the cable and almost the weight. The Krypton 220 is one gram lighter. For this model, the manufacturer states that the button switches last around 10 million clicks.
The biggest difference is therefore the appearance and ergonomics. Genesis Krypton mice are for sale for the price of 199 CZK. For new models, we can expect a price of around 300 – 450 CZK. The exact launch date has not been announced.
