The Cabinet of Ministers plans to expand the circle of people eligible for a state-paid visit to a family doctor’s home.

People living in long-term social care and social rehabilitation facilities are often at increased risk. Contacting a medical facility, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, increases the risks to epidemiological safety not only for patients, but also for health workers.

In order to protect these and other people, it is planned to provide them with the possibility of a free home visit by a family doctor.

In the future, the state will pay for a family doctor’s home visit:

– to children;
– to people with disabilities of the first group;
– to people over 80 years old;
– to those who need palliative care;
– to people who need long-term artificial ventilation of the lungs;
– to sick with flu during a flu epidemic;
– to people who died at home (to state death).
