On Tuesday, February 16, the government supported the creation of a system through which the Public Revenue Service (VID) will transfer data on workers who are sick with Covid-19 to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC).

This will allow the SPKC to draw conclusions about where and in which workplaces the coronavirus is spreading fastest, which will allow it to make more accurate decisions about the requirements of epidemiological safety.

The fact is that information about what professions people get infected most often and can transmit the virus further was not previously collected. Only recently it has become clear that, for example, primary school teachers get sick almost as often as doctors.

People often do not provide complete information about themselves, so the Prevention Center does not have enough data on which professions are more likely to get coronavirus. For example, some of the truck drivers do not admit that they have been abroad.

At the moment, the creation of the system is at the stage of settling formalities so that the State Revenue Service can easily provide data on the work of Covid-19 infected.

At the same time, the exchange of information is planned only regarding sick workers, and not all in a row. Now the SRS databases already contain a sufficient amount of information to provide the data required by the SPKC.
