On Friday afternoon, the village evaluation committee of the year, led by the Speaker of the Riigikogu Jüri Ratas, arrived in Soolu.

During a walk of a few kilometers along the village, Ratas admitted that he had heard such a name from the village for the first time.

The evaluation committee, for which Soolu was the 12th village to evaluate, had exactly two hours to get to know the village, as in all other villages. The journey started at the Soolu table, where Lääne Elu journalist Urmas Lauri exhibits his cow photos. At a fast pace, the guests walked through the whole small village and finished their excursions at Tursa Farm.
