The course of the duel

The guests started with the goal of leveling the series and started fulfilling these goals from the 3rd minute, when an uncovered Stupka scored a goal – 0:1. In the 13th minute, Belluš equalized, who won in a power play and scored his first goal in the Spišská Nová Ves jersey

However, even before the break, Zvolenčany regained a narrow lead when, after Zuzin’s action, Messner prevailed – 1:2. The visitors scored an important goal to make it 1:3 just two minutes after the break, after defender Mudrák took advantage of goalkeeper Melicherčík’s hidden vision.

The home team tried for a contact goal, but the defense of the guests did not let them into dangerous situations. Spectators did not see another goal even during Spišiak’s game without a goalkeeper.
