BANJA LUKA – In the next three years, the Government of the Republic of Srpska will pay almost eight million Microsoft licenses to the company “Comtrade System Integration” from Sarajevo, which was the only one to apply to the tender of the Government of Srpska.
The Decision on awarding the framework agreement, issued by the Secretary General of the RS Government at the end of May, states that the framework agreement for lot 1 – renewal of Microsoft Enterprise Subscription contract from 2021 to 2023 will be awarded to Comtrade with a total price of 4 , $ 86 million including VAT. That is about 7.8 million KM.
The explanation of the decision states that only the Sarajevo company that met the conditions applied for the tender, and its offer was accepted.
The same company received lot two, which referred to the three-year purchase of Microsoft licenses for the needs of educational institutions through the Open program, with a total price of 151,970 KM.
Tender for the purchase of Microsoft licenses worth 6.9 million KM without VAT, which was announced at the end of March, the RS Government divided into two lots.
The estimated value of lot 1 was KM 6.8 million without VAT for three years, and lot two 132,000 KM without VAT for a three-year period.
In the past years, the Government of the RS procured Microsoft licenses from “Chains”, to which millions of marks of citizens of Srpska were paid on that basis.
Compared to the previous three-year period, when 5.1 million KM without VAT was paid to “Lanac” for licenses, the Government will now pay as much as 1.6 million marks more for these licenses.
