Therefore, 25.52% of the research participants say that the necessary for home maintenance represents about 40%-60% of their income, while only 24% of young people under 25 allocate money for the house.
At the same time, 66.43% of the respondents keep track of the budget every month, 75% are people over 55 years old and 55% are young people under 25 years old.
To keep track of the monthly bills, 48.74% of Romanians pay with a card or from their bank account, 11.79% track expenses only in some months, 14.95% rarely do this, and 24.51% declare that they do not I pay with my card or bank account to keep track of the invoices.
Also, 38.96% of respondents use internet banking and mobile banking services weekly, most of them having incomes over 5,000 lei/month, 24.66% occasionally for banking activities, and 25.52% use Google Pay/Apple Wallet, directly from the phone, to pay for products with the card.
The survey was conducted online on 1,390 respondents from all over the country, of which 55.43% were employees, 43.78% with incomes between 2,500 lei and 5,000 lei, 34.22% were aged between 25 and 40, and 39.04 % have higher education.
