Rolls-Roycit presented in the middle of this week a new special edition dedicated to the Cullinan luxury SUV, this time inspired by outer space. It is about the Cullinan Blue Shadow, a model that will be assembled in a limited frame, in only 62 copies.
More specifically, Rolls-Royce representatives say that the Blue Shadow special edition is dedicated to the Karman Line, located a hundred kilometers above sea level. This Karman Line actually represents the boundary between the Earth’s atmosphere and outer space. However, Great Britain uses Imperial units, which means that this Line is 62 miles above sea level. For this reason, the British manufacturer decided that this special edition model will be assembled in 62 units.
On the outside, the Cullinan Blue Shadow Special Edition is painted in an exclusive Stardust Blue shade. According to Rolls-Royce, this color brings out the colors of the upper layers of our planet. Returning to the design, on the front we also notice a grid painted in satin black. right Carscoops, the model is equipped with a set of glossy black rims, which immediately stand out. On the hood we notice a special Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, made of titanium.
The Rolls-Royce surprises continue inside
The ceiling upholstery is very special, being created in the shape of the Moon, which appears to be surrounded by small lights in the shape of stars in the sky. The upholstery surface contains approximately 250,000 stitches. Rolls-Royce chose the Starlight illuminated ceiling for this model, with 1,183 LED lights. The seats feature perforated leather upholstery in the form of artistic designs that actually show what our planet looks like from space. Last but not least, we can also see a special watch, created exclusively for this limited edition.
The lucky ones who will purchase the 62 copies of the Cullinan Blue Shadow special edition will also receive some special accessories from the British manufacturer. This includes a car cover with the design that also appears on the seats, a special luggage set and a 1:8 scale model of the car.
