Gudkov also noted that ordinary Russians feel these losses.

“I think they have lost 30% of their income in these seven years. This is, of course, Crimea and the policy that Putin is pursuing, because there are no reforms,” ​​he said.

It is known that Gudkov was detained in Russia on June 1. He and his relatives were searched. Two days later, the politician was released from custody. He is a suspect in a criminal case of causing property damage by deception or abuse of trust. According to this article, he faces up to five years in prison. Gudkov believes that by prosecuting the authorities, he is trying to prevent him from running in the State Duma elections and the presidential election.
