Since we are in this together with the Minister of Education, I will do exactly what the Minister of Education will do. The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Igor Matovič (OĽANO) stated this in response to the call of the Student Council of Higher Education Institutions (ŠRVŠ) to give up his master’s degree.

The call came after the resignation of the Austrian Minister of Labor and Family Christine Aschbacher, who wrote off in her dissertation.

The Prime Minister called her approach “inspiring”. He further stated that he would prefer to write his diploma thesis once again.

The SRC also delivered to the Prime Minister, together with the summons, a pre-prepared form, which is sufficient to sign, certify the signature and send it to the Rector of Comenius University in Bratislava.
