Liquefied Natural Gas (LPG) prices have been slashed at the consumer level. At the consumer level, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has decided to reduce the price of each 12 kg cylinder by 161 taka to 1 thousand 74 taka. Which until now was 1 thousand 235 taka.

According to the announcement, the price of private LPG has been fixed at 102.91 paise per kg including VAT at the retail point of the consumer. Besides, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid state in reticulated system has been fixed at 99 taka 68 paisa per kg including Musak.

Besides, the price of autogas at the consumer level is fixed at 57 taka 52 paisa per liter including tax.
