The price of Google Pixel 6a has been quietly reduced

After the announcement of the new models, the Pixel 6a remained in the range, but became slightly cheaper.

Google is really following Apple’s example, because after the presentation of the new smartphone, it kept last year’s model in the range, but reduced its price by one hundred. The Google Pixel 6a now officially costs €409 in the Eurozone and £349 in the UK in the Google Store. At the same time, Amazon offers the phone even cheaper in these places, in the UK for 315 pounds, while the Pixel 6a can be ordered from 329 euros on German Amazon. If someone were to order to Hungary through the German Amazon, they would be able to buy the phone for 358 euros after paying the Hungarian VAT and shipping.

Google obliges official resellers to follow the price change, so far it is not known how this will affect the domestic Pixel source, there are still HUF 147,000 devices at the time of writing.

The Pixel 6a uses the first generation Tensor SoC and the Titan M2, the housing is aluminum and plastic, there is no option for wireless charging, but it has IP67 dust and waterproof protection. The phone has 6 GB of memory (LPDDR5) and 128 GB of storage space (UFS 3.1), two 12-megapixel cameras on the back, and an 8-megapixel camera on the display side. The display is a 60 Hz, 6.1-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
