Donations to support the festival can be made at a special page on the Wild Mint website, the platform for which the bank launched. Tinkoff is one of the Wild Mint partners.

The Wild Mint Festival had to be canceled after the decree of the Governor of the Tula Region, which was issued in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. A high alert regime was introduced on the territory of the region, and public events were completely banned.

Regional authorities cited the increase in the incidence of coronavirus and the emergence of new strains as the reason for the cancellation of mass events.

The decree came into force on June 17, which is why the festival was canceled 12 hours before the opening. “Wild Mint” organizer Andrey Klyukin told RBC that the total damage from the cancellation of the festival is estimated at about 96 million rubles. At the same time, he noted that the sponsoring companies of the festival did not demand compensation for damage and payment of penalties.

The organizers do not plan to postpone the festival to a later date.

The Wild Mint independent multi-format music festival, which takes place in the village of Bunyrevo near the town of Aleksin, was first launched in 2008. On the stages of “Wild Mint” perform both the main Russian performers and world stars, indie musicians, young performers.

This year, the organizers planned to let visitors in only if they have a negative PCR test for coronavirus or a vaccination certificate. The festival was planned to perform “Kino”, Mgzavrebi, The Hatters, Ivan Dorn, Tesla Boy, Manizha and other performers.
