The legendary Czech game MAFIA from the studio Illusion Softworks (later 2K Czech) was released exactly twenty years ago. There is probably no one in the Czech Republic who has not heard of the game at some point. Because such an important anniversary must be celebrated somehow, the current owners of the series announced an interesting news.
The mafia is simply a legend. It is one of the few games that we are really proud of in the Czech Republic. And we also have something to do. In addition to domestically, the series also caught on abroad and led from the original game to the remake of the first part. In the meantime, they received the brand in the studio Hangar 13 and kicked off with a not-so-sympathetic third volume, which was heavily criticized.
A few months ago, it was speculated that a new episode was coming, which would take us to Sicily even before number one. The speculation was confirmed by Studio 2K’s official Twitter account. There has been an announcement on the platform that a new Mafia is indeed on its way!
Work has started on an all-new Mafia project

The newest part will come out sometime. The developers do not want to reveal when this will happen. But what they did reveal is that they are publishing Conversation with developers, which is also available in Czech. The guests were developers Roman Hladík, Tomáš Hřebeček and Alexander Cox.
Although we don’t know when Mafia 4 will be released, it doesn’t matter at all. Developers have enough time to bring the best possible result. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, you can pick up the first volume completely free on Steam from September 1st to September 5th.
