The Ministry of Tourism will budget approximately NIS 358,000 for assistance scholarships for students in the fields of tourism for the coming school year, 2002. The ministry considers it of paramount importance to assist students who choose to specialize in their academic studies in the field of hotels and tourism, as part of the ministry’s vision to leverage the future generation expected to integrate into the tourism industry.

The ministry is currently opening registration for aid scholarships and is calling on students for undergraduate and graduate studies in tourism studies and / or for teaching certificate studies in tourism, in recognized institutions of higher education, to apply for scholarships in the amount of up to NIS 8,250.

The scholarships will be distributed as follows:

Bachelor’s degree in the amount of NIS 8,000, master’s degree in NIS 6,000, master’s degree in the research track NIS 8,250 and teaching certificate in tourism NIS 6,000.

The firm will continue to incentivize and initiate steps to help students enter and integrate into the field.
