Prague – The Ministry of Health will present today a reservation system for deadlines for vaccination against covid-19. From Friday, January 15, citizens over the age of 80 and paramedics can apply. Altogether, about 830,000 people will be vaccinated in the first stage, according to the vaccination strategy for January and February. Those interested in vaccinations from the ranks of health professionals or seniors first register on the website crs.uzis.cz. When entering the form, he enters the telephone number to which he receives the confirmation code, which is a security measure against unauthorized login to computer programs. The applicant will then enter his name, permanent residence, birth number and the number and name of his health insurance company, he will also choose the preferred place where he wants to get vaccinated.
When the vaccination center lists the first available dates, the registered applicant will be able to book them. He will be notified by the registration system via SMS and will receive another code to confirm his reservation. There will be a deadline for both benefits.
Vaccination at different centers may be started at different times depending on their capacity or vaccine supply. There are currently 31, mostly at large hospitals. Gradually, large-capacity centers will also be established, for example in cultural centers, sports halls or other places with the possibility of parking a larger number of people. In the first 18 days, about 61,500 vaccinated people were reported from the centers in the Czech Republic, and about 70,000 people actually received the vaccine. Newly, the centers must report everyone to the system on the day they were vaccinated. So far, 196,000 doses of vaccine have been delivered from Pfizer and BioNTech and 8,400 from Moderna.
