The mayor of Martorell, Xavier Fonollosa, took part on Thursday in the constituent session of the Plenary of the Area of Territory and Sustainability from Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia (FMC). The FMC will work to enable local bodies to achieve recycling targets, reduce pollution and promote more sustainable transport.
Finally, in the field of housing, they want to prioritize the new state law on the right to housing, European funds for recovery, Nextgenerations, a new neighborhood law and the promotion of a new National Housing Pact. Strengthen the social rental park; eradicate homelessness and housing emergencies.
