The Matte Green Color On This Inspired XSR 155

Matte Green is the new color for the Yamaha XSR 155.

DAPURPACU – Yamaha Indonesia introduced a new color for its retro sport model, namely the XSR 155. Matte Green color complements the two previous colors.

Antonius Widiantoro, Public Relations Manager, YRA & Community of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, claims that since this motorbike was introduced in late 2019, the retro design has been able to get high enthusiasm from consumers.

For that, he continued, this year Yamaha Indonesia presents a new color so that consumers have more choices on this motorbike. The two previous colors are Matte Silver and Matte Black.

“XSR 155 Matte Green can be the right choice to be different when exploring the beauty of nature and increase self-confidence,” said Antonius.

This color is inspired by the concept of Wanderlust Nature, which is closely related to the desire to travel as far as possible to many places with natural nuances.

Of course, this color also supports the concept of ‘Born to Be Free’ carried by the XSR 155, which provides freedom and fulfills the desire to explore bikers while maintaining a stylish driving appearance.

There are no other changes to the XSR 155, starting from the Drip-Shaped tank model which is able to support comfort while driving, to the use of single seat seats with a classic, stylish design.

Then the design of the front and rear lights is round with modern LED technology, to the existence of a retro-style Full LCD Digital Speedometer which is equipped with a Multi Information Display (MID).

While on the legs, the XSR 155 has adopted an Up Side Down (USD) suspension which not only gives a dashing impression to the motorbike but also improves handling when driving.

The legs use dual-purpose tires designed for mobilization in various road conditions with sizes 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear.

The Yamaha XSR 155 is equipped with a Fuel Injection engine with a 155 cc, SOHC, 4 stroke liquid-cooled capacity plus VVA technology. This configuration produces 19 hp with 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.

This motorbike also has the Assist & Slipper Clutch feature which makes the clutch lighter and shifts smoother. The XSR 155 sells for IDR 36,580,000 on the road in Jakarta. [dp/MTH]
