The 2021 edition of the Madrid-Lisboa Non Stop mountain bike event, open to all types of adventurers in the specialty, will be held from July 2 to 4, starting in Villanueva del Pardillo and arriving in Alenquer.
The eighth edition returns to its stage after 2020 in which the trans-fiber adventure could not be celebrated due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Non Stop participants will face a 770 kilometer route in a maximum of 55 hours. All this in a linear format that does not include mandatory stops.
Alone or in teams of up to 4 people you can take part in this adventure. Groups can be male, female, or mixed.
The categories corporate (groups made up of employees of the same company) and ambassador (groups of people from the same municipality) will be present again.
Another novelty for this edition is the participation of e-bikes. This type of bicycles must undergo departure time controls and will only be allowed to recharge or replace the batteries at the hydration stations and at the Monte da Pedra point. For this edition, a total of 20 teams can start in this mode.
In any of the Non Stop categories, cyclists, bicycles and nature are united in a test that combines demand and satisfaction in equal parts and where participants support each other to reach the finish line within the maximum time allowed.
The Non Stop is considered one of the most outstanding challenges worldwide in the practice of cycling and MTB. It is a test open to all types of mountain biking fans with a spirit of adventure and wanting to enjoy this sport through an unprecedented challenge.
