The Lidl headphones have a premium design and touch controls. It even costs like O2 Pods!

  • Welcome to our regular magazine from the corners of the Lidl e-shop
  • This time we will focus on cheap wireless headphones
  • They really cost a few hundred and have quite decent equipment

Lidl wireless headphones don’t look bad

Electronics from Lidl is cheap, it usually doesn’t play for anything, so it somehow meets all the requirements, although not completely high. Similarly, there are headphones from the Silvercrest company, which boasts interesting equipment, simple design and, of course, an extremely low price. So what will they offer?

Familiar design of headphones from Lidl

These are classic in-ear headphones and are made in a similar style as, for example Galaxy Buds from Samsung. So they don’t have an Apple AirPods model and are simple but functional in terms of design. In the upper part you can notice the control panels, the headphones are equipped with a microphone, so you can also call through them, and there are spare earphones in three sizes in the package.

Silvercrest headphones at a glance:

  • Headphone dimensions: 24.5 × 22.3 × 21.8 mm
  • Charging box dimensions: 72 × 33 × 33 mm
  • Connection: Bluetooth 5.0 (profiles A2DP, HFP, HSP, AVRCP)
  • Battery: 50 mAh in each handset, 350 mAh in the case
  • Integrated microphone
  • Control directly on the headphones
  • Automatic on / off technology

They are available in four colors and are equipped with, for example, a microphone

Decent equipment led by a microphone

The Silvercrest TWS headphones boast quite interesting equipment, including a microphone for calls. These can be received directly on the handset and the music can also be controlled using the control panels. There is also no automatic switch-off technology, which automatically switches the headphones on / off when they are removed or put back in the charging case.

Endurance will be a significant weakness of these headphones. In each we find a battery with a capacity of 50 mAh, which is enough for 3 hours of operation and the charging box with a 350 mAh battery can charge them 1.5 times. That means 7.5 hours of combined operation, which is no great glory. Charging is via the USB-C cable included in the package (60 cm long); wireless charging headphone case can not.

Price and availability

Silvercrest TWS headphones are available on the Lidl Shoph e-shop website and the manufacturer offers them in four colors – blue, silver, green and red. The price is a very nice 399 crowns. So it costs only a hundred crowns more than headphone headphones O2 Pods. If you buy a special guarantee for the crowns from the operator for 99 crowns, the wireless will get from Lidl for exactly the same price – and that’s something to think about!
