A number of new monitors were introduced at the CES 2021 virtual trade fair, including the 27GP950 model from LG, which builds on the older 27GN950.
It is based on a 27-inch IPS display with a 4K resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, but after overclocking the panel can handle even 160 Hz. The response reaches 1 ms (GtG) and will also please 98% of the DCI-P3 color space coverage.
Supporting technologies are Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, DisplayHDR 600 mode and up to 120 Hz there is also HDMI 2.1 VRR. Of interest is the hardware calibration.
We do not know the recommended price of the LG 27GP950 and the recommended price of the monitor has not been announced yet.
