The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom | Dove Trovare Lo Scudo Hylia

The wear of weapons, and shields, in The Legend of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, could be an obstacle for many players who, even spending hours with the Compositor power in an attempt to obtain high-performing weapons, could constantly find themselves in that unpleasant situation for which the damage inflicted by Link, or his defense through the shields available in the realm, could prove to be unsatisfactory during the more difficult fights.

Fear not though, because if to get the Master Sword you will definitely have to sweat (we advise you to take a look at our Guide to Tears of the Dragon and how to get the Supreme Sword), to get the iconic Hylia Shield, you just need to reach a specific point on the map and be skilled enough to avoid a potentially lethal enemy in the early stages of the adventure.

But enough talk and let’s get started. First you must have completed the full-bodied prologue of Tears Of the Kingdom, having unlocked the first Topographic Tower and having obtained the Parasail. At this point you will need to go north of Hyrule Castle and to do this you will have two ways: go along the mammoth structure to the East until you find yourself exactly in the area to the North of the map that overlooks the suspended castle; or take advantage of the Topographic Tower located in the Forte Di Guardia to access the Hanging Castle and from there navigate it until you reach the northern part of the structure (perhaps taking advantage of the opportunity to find some other undoubtedly powerful piece of paraphernalia, in addition to the Hylia Shield).

Once in the North your aim will be to descend in the direction of the port of the castle across the creek you will see exactly below the massive flying structure. Once you arrive inside the dock (you will realize you are in the right place since there will be an imposing staircase to welcome you), get ready to run because you will have to be quite agile to get the Hylia Shield without running into a Game Over.

Start walking up the stairs and you will notice that a huge monster composed of Miasma, arms, and hands with eyes, will approach you in a very aggressive way. Retrace your steps to lure the creature into the large area below the stairs and easily jump onto the wall that runs alongside the stairs to be able to go back in the desired direction while keeping the monster in the back of the area.

Once you reach the clearing located above the imposing staircase, you will notice a large unlit torch. Nock an arrow, add an Igneous Fruit, or an Orange ChuChu Jelly, and light the massive pyre to make a chest appear from the ground. As you may have already understood, in the chest that appeared out of nowhere you will find your shiny new Hylia Shield.

The Hylia Shield will have a defense value of 90 points but beware that, compared to the Supreme Sword, it will not be unbreakable, although it proves to be very difficult to destroy. But fear not because even if you find yourself in the sad situation in which your Hylia Shield will end up in pieces, just go to the Daccapo Village to find out how to repair it but to find out more, we refer you to our Complete Guide to The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom.
