Naser al-Attijah, a Qatari leader in the race, won the seventh stage of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, adding to his overall advantage. The second best time was for Saudi al-Rajahi, who thus holds second place overall.

For motorcyclists, Jose Ignacio Cornejo Florimo of Chile was the best of the day, and Adrien van Beveren of France took the lead overall.
