The specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro fall into flagship waters, but in terms of design it is more of a settled piece built around a plastic frame and a glass or leather back. The leather is of course artificial and the back is slightly rounded on the sides, so the phone should fit well in the hand. And the processor in the form of the eight-core Dimensity 9200+, which made its world premiere in this phone, also looks interesting.
This is a higher-clocked version of the original Dimensity 9200, which is a direct competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and, in theory, we have before us the most powerful phone today. The dual camera builds on the flagship Sony IMX 866 photo chip with a resolution of 50 Mpx and optical stabilization, to which the company makes an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor and a dedicated Vivo V1+ photo processing chip.
Battery and charging
iQOO Neo 8 Pro not only has a flagship display and processor, but also charging. It has a power of 120 W and can charge a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh to 50% in a lightning-fast 9 minutes. Other equipment worth mentioning is a stereo speaker, 5G support, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3 or WiFi 6. The phone runs out of the box on Android 13 with the OriginOS 3 superstructure.
Price and availability
The iQOO Neo 8 Pro will go on sale on May 31 and will be available in China. It is not yet clear whether it will reach outside this market, but it can be assumed that it will not. The price of the basic version with 16 + 256 GB memory was set at 3,099 yuan (9,660 crowns without VAT), and the top version equipped with 16 + 512 GB memory will cost 3,399 yuan (10,590 crowns without VAT).
