Valentine’s Day has been the date chosen by Prince Harry and Megan Markle to announce that in a few months they will welcome their second child.

“We can confirm that Archie is going to become the older brother. The Duke and Duchess are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child ”, says the statement issued this Sunday by the Cabinet of the Dukes of Sussex to spread the good news.

The text was accompanied by an idyllic photograph of the couple in black and white taken by their friend and photographer Misan Harriman.

“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness the beginning of this love story, and my friend, I am honored to capture him growing up. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for this joyous news! ”, Writes the author of the snapshot. In it, the couple pose barefoot, under a tree, relaxed and smiling while she tenderly places her hand on her already prominent tummy.

This is the second son of the dukes of the prince and the actress who in 2019 welcomed Archie, who will turn two years old next May.

The couple thus fulfills the dream of giving a baby brother to their son after the hard moments lived by the abortion that Megan suffered last November. It was the Duchess herself who recounted the sad episode in a article published in the New York Times.

Everything indicates that the new member of the family, who will occupy the eighth place in the line of succession to the throne of England, will be born in the United States and not in the United Kingdom as his brother.
