Suara.com – Rossa responded to the decision by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, which ultimately did not confiscate the gig fees she had received from DNA Pro. Rossa also said she was grateful.

“Thank God, maybe it’s still my sustenance,” said Rossa, during a press conference in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (26/4/2022).

As previously stated by Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan as the Director of Special Economic Crimes of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department, Rossa is not required to return the gig fee from DNA Pro because there is no criminal element in her work contract.

“The contract was not violated and there was no indication of promoting DNA Pro. I just happened to be singing at that time,” said the 43-year-old singer.

“When the examination was asked, if the honorarium was temporarily confiscated to be used as evidence, would you be willing? I said yes,” said Yoyo Padi’s ex-wife.

Rossa herself had originally intended to cooperate by handing over the Rp 172 million to investigators this week.

“The agreement came after yesterday’s investigation process,” said Rossa’s attorney, Muhammad Wardaya, at the same place.

Previously, the Head of the Public Information Division of the Divhumas Polri Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko said that Rossa had returned the gig fee from DNA Pro.
