The hardware will be similar to last year
The fact is that the new Honor 90 series will be a decent update of the current one rather than a significant revolution. However, the Pro model will receive some interesting improvements, although, like the Honor 80 Pro, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and offer the same rounded AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1224p.
The charging power should increase from the original 66 W to a faster 90 W, and the camera will also get a change. It will again rely on the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 photo chip, but its resolution will no longer be artificially reduced to 160 Mpx, and the Honor 90 Pro should become the next phone to offer a main camera with a resolution of 200 Mpx.
New Honors are already around the corner
In addition to the design, the leaked photo also revealed the official premiere date. The Honor 90 and 90 Pro news will arrive on May 29, roughly half a year after the Honor 80. Whether this new series will also be available outside of China, that is, here, is unfortunately in the stars for now.
