The historic March 7 cannot be endangered

March came again in our lives Ñ Agnijhara March. But this March is different from other March. This March is the Golden Jubilee March of Independence, this March is also the Golden Jubilee March of the historic March 7 speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman! The speech of March 7 has become a unique asset of Bengalis and an asset of the world. UNESCO has recognized Bangabandhu’s historic speech on March 7 as a monument of world heritage. We think that the inner passion, motivation, solar courage and the fire of liberation of the destitute people has spread everywhere, from country to country, from time to time. It has spread like the Amiya music of Rabindranath Tagore ধার in the exuberant stanza of the song in which he wrote, ‘The fire that you set on my soul, the fire has spread everywhere.’ The fire of Bangabandhu’s speech on March 7 aroused the whole Bengalis in such a way that the patriotic Bengalis had no hesitation in self-sacrifice at the foot of the fire, nor did they have any hesitation in self-sacrifice. Bangabandhu’s speech on March 7 did not only reflect the aspirations of the Bengalis for liberation but also the aspirations of the oppressed, oppressed, deprived, hungry and helpless destitute people of all parts of the world for economic and human liberation. Therefore, for independence, the peasants, workers, students, people, clerks, porters, blacksmiths, weavers, potters, hardworking people of all walks of life, in response to Bangabandhu’s thunderous call, jumped against the Pakistani executioners in the liberation war of the nation. Bangabandhu’s announcement on March 7 at the Uttala Racecourse Ground to free himself from the shackles of subjugation made the oppressed people of the world tremble. Responding to Bangabandhu’s call, ‘This time the struggle is for our liberation, this time the struggle is for freedom’, the countrymen and the world looked forward to the victory of the Bengalis. In return for the sacrifices of 3 million martyrs and the respect of 2.5 million women, we have got an independent and sovereign Bangladesh, a long-term dream of Bangabandhu and a Bangladesh of political pursuits ার the golden Bengal of Rabindranath’s dream-imagination.

It is being heard that on the eve of the golden jubilee of independence, BNP will observe March 7 as a day of ‘special significance’. In the year of the golden jubilee of independence, many of the activities of the BNP ইচ্ছা the desire to see and understand জমা remained in our minds প্রয়োজন before any decision needs to be interpreted. Let’s see where the BNP and at the same time our national future actually stands! The political and historical significance of March in the history of Bangladesh is immense. March 2021 is the golden jubilee of independence. So the significance of this March is uniquely important in the life of Bengalis. But when it comes to discussing and evaluating the significance of the march, we see an attempt to throw this unique march behind consciousness. We see the death of imprisoned writer (!) Mushtaq Ahmed in the capital’s highways have become turbulent! It is seen with surprise that the BNP is active in trying to penetrate into the movement of the so-called progressives! In the third week of February, when the movement to open the dormitory halls of students of different universities was about to start, a quarter also became active due to political misfortunes. There is no need to rewrite their identities.

The group was going to take an active role in gaining political advantage by infiltrating the student movement. But their activism died in the field with the quick announcement of the Minister of Education regarding the opening of public universities and residential halls! When Mushtaq Ahmed, a prisoner under digital law, died, his body became an opportunity for the so-called court to achieve political ends! They also became active participants in the movement as they gave a ‘wind’ behind the protesters demanding the repeal of the Digital Security Act. Although it started with Mushtaq’s body, the BNP is now trying to heat up the field by demanding the resignation of the government and the announcement of a new election date. The significance of the march is about to disappear from the face of the new generation in the multi-faceted movement of the BNP and its progressive claimants.

We do not understand that all this is a very good political agenda of a special court to hide the glory of the golden jubilee of independence. Like the golden jubilee of independence, the vicious cycle of erasing the golden jubilee of Bangabandhu’s historic speech on March 7 from the minds of the people of this country is becoming more and more apparent. Behind these unpopular issues has fallen from the list of least developed states to the joy of being in a developing country. The nation could have ‘celebrated’ this achievement with more joy. But by creating a chaotic atmosphere, the atmosphere of all kinds of celebrations has been ruined and the general public’s eyes have been diverted from the march of glory! We want to make it clear that extrajudicial killings or assassinations cannot be justified in any way, whatever they may be.

Speaking of freedom of speech, those who have taken to the field with the project of confusing and depriving the young generation from the continuity of national history think that they are the bearers of progressive and progressive thoughts, but in all their activities and programs, they realize their one-sided consideration. Discretion seems to be a distant thing for them. Yet they consider themselves the bearers of progressive and progressive thought. But sadly, these pioneers of forward thinking did not protest against the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family, nor did they protest against the heinous assassination of four national leaders inside the jail. They forgot to protest the August 21 grenade attack! Forget the indiscriminate killing of innumerable meritorious army officers in the name of coup d’etat of the sepoy masses to protest! Because most of these were active attempts to wipe out the Awami League and the Bangabandhu family. So can’t it be assumed that Awami League and Bangabandhu family are the target of their victims? And we are amazed to see that these progressives, instead of protesting against the post-election violence and rape of 2001 out of love or fear for the sake of ‘Hawa Bhavan’, have quietly enjoyed the killings and rapes in a distorted way, much like ‘consciously unconscious’!

Some BNP leaders are feeling happy to see the recent movement under the banner of Progressive Chhatra Jote. Even a BNP leader in Rajshahi has hinted at the creation of another August 21. The BNP is gaining confidence thinking that the highways are getting heated as the student movement has become entrenched in some scattered incidents, many leaders are also dreaming of the fall of the government! So the staff is advised to prepare! But for the past decade, the BNP movement is far from standing on the highway! In many ways they have lost political and moral competition! The current ‘fence’ of the party is due to the fact that the top leaders have been convicted and absconded in various cases including corruption. In this situation, they are only actively trying to gain benefit from the movements of various professional groups by infiltrating them. But how long can you survive like this? The existence of a political party is gradually endangered by dependency. The BNP is running towards that danger. But the BNP has to keep in mind that there is no room for anti-politics with the golden jubilee of independence and the golden jubilee of Bangabandhu’s historic March 7 speech. We cannot allow any national or historical achievement to be endangered. That is why the Awami League must be careful.
