The hiring of managers for ambulance services is simplified

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, announces that he has simplified the order that provides the criteria for hiring directors for the County Ambulance Stations, so that, from the summer, competitions will be able to be organized.

Also, Rafila wants the Directorates of Public Health to have stable management.

The minister declared in Oradea, in a press conference, that when he took over the leadership of the Ministry of Health, he found an order, from 2020, which regulated the way to occupy the position of manager of the SAJ, but it would have been easier to obtained the title of professor at Oxford, than that of SAJ manager.

“It used to be much easier to get a professorship at Oxford than the position of director at a SAJ”

“I found an order at the Ministry of Health that regulated the manner of, I think it was made in 2020, regulating the manner of occupying management positions within the Ambulance Services. We revised that order, so as to make it operational, applicable.
