The habit of fleeing the country belongs to BNP, not Awami League: Enamul Haque Shamim

Deputy Minister of Water Resources and former organizing secretary of Awami League AKM Enamul Haque Shamim MP said, Awami League has no history of running away. BNP has a habit of fleeing the country. Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman fled the country with a pledge that he will not do politics. After being accused, the case was not dealt with. BNP led by Khaleda Zia was elected on February 15, 1996 and fled in the face of agitation. Bangabandhu’s daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s magnanimity, Khaleda Zia is able to stay at home despite being a convicted convict. Don’t mistake kindness for weakness.

He said, BNP leaders say where, Awami League leaders and workers will flee the country. Stop having these nightmares. Awami League is the only political party whose leader led the great liberation war and made the country independent. Awami League was born through struggle. And all the achievements of Bangladesh are in the hands of Awami League. So go to the people without daydreaming. The delirium of those madmen cannot come to power.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the membership renewal ceremony organized by Dingamanik Union at Panditsar High School grounds of Shariatpur’s Naria upazila on Saturday afternoon.

He also said that their politics is based on propaganda. They have been spreading propaganda against the government, against Awami League and Awami League leaders and activists by using social media, besides holding press conferences. They have increased the propaganda ahead of the elections. They are making extreme efforts to mislead people not only from the country but also abroad.

Enamul Haque Shamim said that the Awami League government under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina has been able to turn Bangladesh into a developing country following the footsteps of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangladesh was created by Bangabandhu’s honesty and talent. And Sheikh Hasina has reached such a unique height in her honesty, wisdom, intelligence and political foresight that not only Bangladesh but also the international community has great respect for her. Therefore, Sheikh Hasina will come to power for the fifth time in the next election.

The deputy minister said that people have not forgotten about BNP-Jamaat’s misrule and arson. Even if they are in power, they loot the country’s resources, commit corruption and terrorism, and smuggle money abroad. And if they are not in power, they kill people with fire terror to destabilize the country. So the people of the country no longer want to see them in power. BNP has now become a disorganized party. Having failed in the movement and elections, they have indulged in various conspiracies at home and abroad. Their party has no organizational base. No power to move. The people of this country are united under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina. People want Awami League in power, not arson terrorists and anti-national conspirators.

Dingamanik Union Awami League hero freedom fighter Shahjahan Sikder presided over and General Secretary Monir Hossain Sumon conducted the event as special guests, District Awami League President Chabedur Rahman Khoka Sikder, Awami League Central Science and Technology Sub Committee member Zahir Sikder, Nadia Municipality Mayor Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Awami League President Vir Muktijoddha Fazlul Haque Mal, General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Khokon, Member Alhaj Anwar Hossain Khan, Adviser Zobayda Haque Ajanta, Upazila Awami League Religion Secretary Shahidul Islam Shantu Chowdhury, Science and Technology Secretary Gazi Monir, Co-Office Secretary Taher Zaman, UP Chairman Abdul Aziz Sardar, Amit Pal etc.

Earlier in the morning Deputy Minister Enamul Haque Shamim inaugurated a training workshop for UP Chairman, Members and Secretaries at Naria.
