Prague – The measure, according to which it will not be possible to prove antigenic, but only PCR tests for covid-19, will be discussed by the government in resignation at today’s meeting. The program establishing the national list of sites of European importance is also on the agenda of the ending cabinet of YES and the CSSD.

The measure to abolish the recognition of antigen tests and self-tests is the only step brought by the negotiations of the current cabinet with the AntiCovid team representing the future government of Spolu (ODS, KDU-ČSL, TOP 09) and Pirates with STAN. According to the resigned Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES), the measure will apply from Monday, November 29.

On the other hand, the AntiCovid team did not agree with the introduction of the so-called Austrian model, according to which it would not be possible to recognize any type of tests when entering restaurants or mass events, but only vaccinations or covid-19.

The government could introduce compensation programs for companies along with adjustments to the recognition of tests. The programs are ready, but the trade unions and the future government must agree on them, the Minister of Industry and Trade and Resigned Karel Havlíček (YES) said on Sunday in the program Questions of Václav Moravec. Compensation could be around one billion crowns a month, he added.

Today, the cabinet could amend the list of sites of European importance in the regulation. In six cases there are technical changes, the site in Letňany, Prague, is to be canceled due to the extinction of the subject of protection. Another regulation on the government’s program sets out the level and amount of public support that can be provided in individual regions of the Czech Republic in the form of an investment incentive.
