Geely KX11 receives a radiator grille, with vertical blades, which occupies an impressive surface, flanked by elongated headlights with daytime running lights and integrated LED indicators.

The pattern the Chinese manufacturer features plastic wing guards, large windows and a sturdy silhouette. In the rear there are narrow taillights, joined by an LED light strip. There is also a bar with a chrome insert that stretches across the width of the rear, plus an aileron on the roof.

The SUV measures 4,770 millimeters in length, 1,895 millimeters in width and 1,689 millimeters in height. The wheelbase is 2,845 millimeters. There are figures that will position the model in the segment of mid-range SUVs, somewhere between Volvo XC90 and Volvo XC60.

There are three screens on board: an instrument panel, a display that stretches along the entire length of the dashboard and another for the rear passengers.

The Geely SUV with Volvo platform could be exhibited at the Shanghai Motor Show

Geely keeps the mystery about the technical specifications. But we know that this model is based on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform, developed by Volvo. Models like the Volvo XC40 or Polestar 2 are built on the same structure. Most likely, the Geely SUV will have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which develops 238 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. The Chinese manufacturer is also considering a plug-in hybrid version, which integrates a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor. Together they would develop 258 horsepower and 415 Nm of torque. Geely has prepared an eight-speed automatic transmission for its car.

The model could be exhibited at the Shanghai Motor Show, scheduled to take place in April. Geely KX11 will go into production later this year.
