The first offshore wind parks in Estonia can be built by the end of this decade, writes rus.ee.ee.

The corresponding territorial plan, allowing the construction of new wind turbines in the coastal waters of Estonia, will soon be submitted to the government for approval and will identify three offshore sites on which the wind turbines can be built.

The first one is adjacent to the already developed wind turbine park in the Gulf of Riga. The second and largest plot is located to the west of Saaremaa, the third small plot is also next to this island.
