– I have just returned from a meeting with people from the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia who are searching for Matej and they assured me that they will continue the search with equal intensity, even though it is Christmas on Friday. I have only received basic information and I can now confirm to you that they have DNA extracted for comparison. I am not asking for and I am not interested in details, but only to resolve this situation – says Matej’s father Nenad to Jutarnji list.

He also sent an appeal and a request to the media, but also a message to the public in Serbia.

– I want to thank everyone in Croatia and Serbia, but also everyone who sends us messages of support. I want everyone in Serbia to spend today’s Christmas Day and tomorrow’s Christmas with their families and in peace – said Nenad Periš.

Let us remind you, today is the seventh day as the police are looking for the missing citizen of Split, Matej Periš (24), who was last filmed by security cameras running through the streets around Beton Hall. On the fateful evening, Periš was having fun with his friends at the “Gothic” club, from where he ran in an unknown direction.

His friends were polygraph examined and returned to Croatia.
