The Muxart Espai d’Art opens this Friday, at 8 pm, the exhibition Processes. A project about artistic creativity. The exhibition is the result of coordination between the Martorell museum and the Obertencanal art association, which aims to bring contemporary creation closer to the Montserrat area by promoting young creators in the area.
Law Suit it goes beyond an expository proposal. It is configured from several phases that aim to keep track of everything involved in the creative process from two defined lines of work.
The first phase took place from June 7 to July 4, focused on research and exchange of ideas between artists. In it, dialogue has been very present and emphasis has been placed on the individual and collective processes of artists.
The second phase, from July 9, 2021 to January 9, 2022, with the artistic results of the previous process is set up the exhibition Law Suit with which the works carried out are made known and an external dialogue will be established between the project participants and the public.
Law Suit is curated by Rafa Haro and Laura Bel d’Obertencanal and can be visited at the Muxart until 24 September. Later, he will travel to different centers of contemporary culture.
For the first time and thanks to this initiative, the Muxart, Espai d’Art i Creació Contemporanis pays homage to its name, becoming a space for real artistic creation, a place where contemporary art is alive and in continuous transformation. and in which the debate and communication between emerging artists of the territory is present, highlights the curator Laura Bel.

Law Suit emphasizes the importance of the creative process as the main element of any artistic event and to carry it out the following five artists or groups from the Baix Llobregat Nord area have been selected: OTHER Collective, Edo García, Mho, Sibux and Júlia Ruiz Matas, to participate throughout the project. One of these artists is Mho Dueñas, who carries the figure of the woman as the main element of her works.
