The deepest pool in the world has opened in Dubai

Visitors can dive up to 60 meters in the special underwater world.

The capital of the UAE has had plenty to see so far, but now a new attraction has opened, not only the current deepest pool in the world, but an entire underwater town that can be explored during a dive.

The Deep Dive Dubai project is designed to see cars, smaller homes and lights parked underwater, so it’s an experience as if you’re visiting a sunken world.

Participants, on the other hand, are subject to strict rules, as a sudden change in pressure can cause serious health problems – for example, after a dive, all participants are required to stay in a pressure equalization chamber or visit the Burj Khalifa, one of the tallest buildings in the world.

In the 14 million-liter pool, you can dive up to 60 meters deep in the roughly 30-degree water, but you can explore the underwater world on several levels. The safety of the divers is ensured by a rescue team of twelve people, and all areas of the pool are constantly scanned with 56 cameras.
