The cyber threat reviewer sues Samnytt | Free Times

Tomas Åberg has previously successfully sued the journalist Joakim Lamotte and a long line of pensioners who correctly pointed out that he is an animal abuser.

Åberg believes that nine pieces of text in three articles on Samnytt constitute gross defamation. Samnytt’s journalist Mattias Albinsson has written all three articles.

– When I received the summons and read the charges, I thought: These are not things that I have written. Then I understood that the plaintiff quoted passages from a post that Lamotte wrote on his Facebook, and which is included in an attachment to the legal process between him and the Cyber ​​Threat Examiner. Samnytt has published a screenshot from that file attachment in an article, says Albinsson.

Samnytt’s responsible publisher Mats Dagerlind comments on the lawsuit as follows:

– It is difficult to see that Åberg has a case here. As the article’s author Mattias Albinsson points out, these are qualitatively different from the sometimes vociferous expressions of opinion that others were convicted of when Åberg took them to court. In his lawsuit against us, Åberg also falls for the kind of rhetoric that he criticizes others for when he accuses us of lies, even though everything we write is fact-checked and documented.
