Boris Grachevsky, artistic director of the Yeralash children’s magazine, has died in Moscow.

The creator of Yeralash became infected on December 21, and a week later he was taken to the hospital. At the end of the month, his wife Yekaterina Belotserkovskaya said that 71-year-old Grachevsky is in a stable critical condition in intensive care.
The media also reported that the filmmaker was connected to a ventilator and put into a medication coma. On December 31, he himself told reporters that “everything is fine” with him.
Grachevsky was also known as the director of the films “The Roof” and “Between the Notes, or Tantric Symphony”. In addition, he worked as an administrator on the paintings of Alexander Rowe and Vasily Shukshin.
