The judgment is upheld in the Court of Appeal

The 16-year-old had to flee swimming, and finally managed to get ashore and call for help.

He miraculously survived his injuries – and after three days on the run, the two suspected classmates were arrested. They were later sentenced in the district court to closed juvenile detention for two years and eight months for attempted murder, robbery and aggravated weapon crime.

The verdict, which was appealed, has now been upheld by the Court of Appeal – with a few adjustments.

The new verdict changes the amount of damages, and chooses to acquit one of the perpetrators of a serious weapon crime, which they both was convicted in the first instance.
