On Tuesday, August 9, Tallinn will sign an agreement with the companies Merko Ehitus Eesti and KMG Inseneriehitus that won the state tender for the design and construction of new tram tracks.
On Tuesday, the agreement will be signed by representatives of the Tallinn Environment and Public Utilities Department, as well as representatives of AS Tallinna Linnatransport as a financing party, and representatives of the contract executors – the mentioned companies that won the international public procurement competition, as well as OÜ TPJ Inseneribüroo.
Together with the value added tax and owner supervision, the design and construction of the tram lines will cost around 46 million euros, 26 million of which will come from a European fund.
