The Supreme People’s Assembly is the highest sovereign body in the North Korean constitution, and it plays a role in revising the constitution and laws, personnel of major state organizations, and approving budget proposals.

On the other hand, it was revealed that the position of Kim Yeo-jeong, the younger sister of General Secretary Kim, who was excluded from the party’s political bureau candidate committee, was demoted from the first vice-president of the Labor Party to vice-president.
