A prototype of a classic Android phone is presented in the video.
In 2019, information came to light about the upcoming phone, a classic design (the so-called “Feature phone”), the system of which will be the popular Android operating system. The upcoming novelty was to be called Nokia 400 with the codename TA-1208. The device is equipped with a Wi-Fi module, which would certainly please the owners of this phone, if it was still manufactured. The phone is installed with the Android 8.1 – Oreo OS with security patches from August 2019. The device is equipped with 512 MB of RAM, in addition, there was to be a camera module on the back, which is seconded by an LED flash. Like all classic phones, there is a removable back cover under which the battery is located, but the slot also has a SIM card and a microSD card.
Although the Nokia 400 has the Android OS, it is not equipped with a touch screen and the entire control falls under the directional buttons. Also, do not expect the fingerprint sensor in this case either, as you will unlock the device by pressing the star. When unlocked, you’ll see the Google Now main screen and find apps like Google Chrome, YouTube, Sharing, Camera, and Apps Menu at the bottom of the screen. The prototype is also equipped with the Google Play application, from where you can install other applications.
This facility was to be primarily oriented to the Indian market, but it could be assumed that if successful, global sales would be planned.
