The Budapest GO application has become smarter and faster

We have good news for the users of the capital’s public transport, as an update has made it not only faster, but also easier to use the application of the Budapest Transport Center (BKK), Budapest GO. The update, available from May 25, speeds up the process of presenting tickets and passes, namely with the help of a new icon.

The route planner now provides more accurate information about the expected time of arrival, in addition, it does not direct the user to the next stop and does not recommend that we board the next flight, since it already knows that we are on our way to the connection.

By the way, BKK’s application is quite popular: it has 1.1 million registered users, it has been downloaded more than 2.8 million times, and 750,000 people have already used it to buy tickets or passes. The smartphone application recently won the iF Design Award, which recognizes the most innovative, aesthetically outstanding products of the year.
