The BMW M3 Touring will be presented for the first time in Romania during the Poli Auto Fest event, which will take place on Friday, May 19.
After 5 generations of BMW M3 and 50 years of BMW M history, the BMW M3 Touring is an absolute novelty for the brand. In an absolute first for Romania, the new model will be presented at the Poli Auto Fest and officially unveiled on Friday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m., at the BMW Group stand.

Powered by an in-line six-cylinder engine and available exclusively in the M3 Competition variant, the model comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the intelligent M xDrive all-wheel drive system. The engine develops 510 HP reached at 6,250 RPM, 650 Nm between 2,750-5,500 rpm, which allows the M3 Touring to reach 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and, on the circuit, 0-200 km/h in 12.9 seconds .

The BMW Group stand is complemented by another important BMW M premiere – the new BMW XM, the first model dedicated to M after the original BMW M1 launched in 1978 and also the most powerful model in history bearing the M logo. The BMW Group stand will be complemented by a series of racing models that participate in Romanian motorsport, a presentation of BMW Motorrad motorcycles, but also a series of special guests, with the collaboration of the Romanian Driving Experience for driving exercises and technology demonstrations in the foreground.
Between May 19-21, 2023, the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest organizes the second edition of the Poli Auto Fest event, a festival dedicated to the automotive industry with all its components.
This year dozens of companies will participate, over 230 cars, there will be drift demonstrations, test-drives and workshops dedicated to topics of interest such as road safety or the car of the future.
From beloved vintage cars, to the latest car models equipped with augmented reality systems, screens that can function as windows, smart windows or voice commands, all will be exhibited at Poli Auto Fest. Likewise, intelligent traffic management systems, the development of an alternative fuel supply infrastructure or the use of electronic documents are just some of the topics that will be the subject of specialized conferences, competitions and thematic workshops.
