Irrevocable. The sentence pronounced in the public hearing, today, 13.01.2021 ”, writes in the court decision.
The stake of the process was the administrative border between Neamţ and Harghita counties. In the first instance, the Prahova Tribunal decided to annul the report recording the installation of some border posts and to establish another border, with 4 km towards Neamţ County, which involved the crossing of the Bicaz Gorges, administrative, in Harghita County.
Thus, the Bicaz Gorges belonged to the Gheorgheni municipality from Harghita, and not to the Bicaz Chei commune from Neamţ county. In June 2021, the judges of the Ploieşti Court of Appeal decided that the Bicaz Gorges area should remain under the administration of Neamţ County.
