The introduction of “Milos” into armaments will significantly improve the operational capabilities of the Battalion for Special Operations “Falcons” and the 72nd Brigade for Special Operations – said Milovanovic.
Members of the battalion had the opportunity to learn about the performance of the new combat vehicle on the training grounds and to be convinced of its firepower, high level of ballistic protection and exceptional maneuverability in all conditions. The vehicle is intended for reconnaissance, anti-terrorist and anti-guerrilla combat, territory control, as well as for transportation and support of special operations units.
Better salaries and apartments
Minister Stefanović said that in addition to investing in new equipment and ballistic protection, investments in the standard of soldiers will continue.
– We want members of our army to have better salaries, to have the right to subsidized apartments and for all employees in the Serbian Army and the Ministry of Defense to feel the support of the state. They deserve it, because they do an important and responsible job. They are fighting day and night to protect their country and ensure its stability – Stefanović pointed out.
